Eylem Tok message in Kızılcık Şerbeti: 'You turned an accident into a murder'

Eylem Tok message in Kızılcık Şerbeti: 'You turned an accident into a murder'

Kızılcık Şerbeti's new episode, which aired last night, addressed the case of author Eylem Tok, who helped her son flee abroad after he caused the death of Oğuz Murat Aci and injured four others in a luxury vehicle accident in Istanbul's Eyüpsultan district.

In a scene where the character Kıvılcım appears on screen, she stated the following:

"Every mother and father wants to protect their child. I understand this because I am a mother too. But being a mother or a father does not mean being unjust. When someone is hurt, it should not go unpunished for someone else.

A child was involved in an accident and caused a massive catastrophe. I am addressing the mother who thinks she is doing her child a favor by trying to save him.

You have ruined your son's life. You have turned him into an object of hatred. You have turned an accident into a murder. And unfortunately, you are the only guilty person in this incident."

WHAT HAPPENED?

On March 1, Eylem Tok's 17-year-old son hit a group standing in the emergency lane in Istanbul with a luxury vehicle belonging to his mother, causing the death of Oğuz Murat Aci and injuring four others.

Following this, it was revealed that Tok had fled with her son, first to Egypt and then to the USA.

The Ministry of Justice announced that the extradition process had been initiated.

A travel ban was imposed on the father, Bülent Cihantimur, and on A.K., who had delivered the lost phone of one of the injured to the police after the accident. Ayşe Ceren Saltoğlu, an employee of Cihantimur who was alleged to have taken Tok and her son to the airport, was arrested and later released.
