Eylem Tok wanted to rent a house in New York, but the landlord rejected her: 'Am I going to harbor a killer in my home?'
The investigation continues regarding the death of Oğuz Murat Aci, who lost his life in an accident caused by Eylem Tok's 17-year-old son. Tok, who went to the USA with her son after the accident, wanted to rent a house in New York for 96 thousand dollars a year. However, the landlord she spoke with said he recognized her from the press and that he would not harbor a killer in his home.

The investigation continues into the fatal accident caused by the unlicensed driver T.C., who was taken to the USA by his mother, author Eylem Tok, in Eyüpsultan, Istanbul.
The photograph of the mother and son, who fled abroad, on the streets of New York had been a subject of long-standing debate.
Gözde G., a Turkish citizen living in America who captured those moments, spoke as follows:
"On Wednesday, March 13, around 5:00 PM local time in America, I noticed them between 57th Street and 6th Avenue in Manhattan. I had been following this incident closely. I approached, and seeing them walking with joy and laughter, frankly, it touched a nerve. I was shocked to see their comfort."
Following all these developments, a new claim regarding Eylem Tok has come to the fore.
SHE WANTED TO RENT A HOUSE
Tok, who lives in the USA with her son, wanted to rent a house in New York for 96 thousand dollars a year. However, the landlord she spoke with said he recognized her from the press and that he could not rent his house to her.
The landlord gave the following response to Tok:
"With what courage are you making this offer to me? Am I going to harbor a killer in my home? Let me pretend I never heard this offer. There is no need for such insolence."
