New details have been determined regarding the footage that emerged in the investigation into the fatal traffic accident in Eyüpsultan. In the incident that occurred on March 1 in Istanbul's Eyüpsultan district, the vehicle driven by T.C. hit 3 ATVs, causing the death of Oğuz Murat Aci. Following this accident, police teams conducted security camera footage analysis at many locations.

THE FOOTAGE OF THE GROUP OF FRIENDS DREW ATTENTION

After the incident, Eylem Tok smuggled her son first to Egypt and then to the US that same night. While the police identified this escape by the mother and son, they also obtained important security camera footage related to the incident. Mapping out the route based on the statements of the 9 people in the two vehicles, the police collected all security camera footage along this route one by one. The footage showing the 7 people in the two vehicles together drew attention. It was a matter of curiosity whether this footage was taken before or after the incident, who was in it, and where that location was. It has emerged that the details of this footage have also been included in the investigation file.

T.C. IS ALSO IN THE FOOTAGE

According to the work done by the police, it was learned that this was security camera footage taken in front of a liquor store. The names of the 7 people in the footage were also identified one by one. Accordingly, the footage includes T.C., who caused the accident, D.O.Ö., who was driving the second vehicle, as well as P.T.E., Z.H., A.K., Y.E., and K.A.

THE FOOTAGE HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE INVESTIGATION FILE

According to the statements and the work carried out, the group of friends, consisting of 7 people in total who met with the two vehicles driven by T.C. and D.O.Ö., first wanted to enter a liquor store to buy cigarettes. Stating in their testimonies that they could not buy cigarettes, T.C.'s friends stated that they later picked up 3 more friends on the road, bringing the total to 10 people. All these obtained security camera recordings were analyzed one by one and added to the investigation file.

THE SECOND DRIVER ALSO DOES NOT HAVE A LICENSE

Another detail that drew attention in the investigation has emerged. It was revealed that D.O.Ö., a friend of T.C. who was driving the second vehicle on the night of the incident, was also under 18 and did not have a driver's license. In his statement, D.O.Ö. stated that he stopped his vehicle after the incident occurred, saying, "I immediately ran to the injured and checked them. My friend Zekai spoke to one of the injured; the injured person gave his own phone to Zekai and asked him to check his head. After Zekai checked the injured person's head, Zekai took the car keys from me because we didn't have driver's licenses and to avoid crowding the scene, and he took the vehicle back to the site called Kemer Country with Kerem."

D.O.Ö. stated to the police teams arriving at the scene that the vehicle was taken away by his friend so as not to be caught driving without a license. It turned out that the friend who took the vehicle also did not have a driver's license. It is unknown whether a traffic fine was issued to D.O.Ö. and Z.H.D., who drove the vehicle away, for driving without a license during the investigation.
