An investigation was launched against Engin Polat and Dilan Polat for the crimes of "establishing an organization for the purpose of committing a crime," "prevention of laundering proceeds of crime," "laundering assets derived from crime," and "violation of tax laws."
14 people, including names such as Dilan Polat, Engin Polat, Sezgin Polat, Alper Kürşat Polat, Sinem Sıla Doğu, Can Doğu, and Can Polat, were arrested on Sunday, November 5, as part of the investigation.
11 days after their arrest, Engin Polat and his father Sezgin Polat were transferred to the Çorlu High-Security Closed Penal Institution for public order and security reasons, while Engin Polat's brother Alper Kürşat Polat and Zekayi Tepe were transferred to the Kocaeli Closed Penal Institution.
Engin Polat's brother Can Polat, his uncle Halit Polat, his maternal uncle Metin Yılmaz, and Dilan Polat's brother Can Doğu were transferred to the Tekirdağ Closed Penal Institution.
Dilan Polat and Sıla Doğu had remained in Silivri.
TRANSFERRED TO ÇORLU PRISON
According to the latest breaking news, Dilan Polat has been transferred to the high-security Çorlu Prison due to a directive from the Ministry of Justice.
Dilan Polat's sister Sıla Doğu will remain in the same place as Nihal and Bahar Candan for a while.
