Haluk Levent sang in Arabic for Palestinian children at the Conquest of Istanbul celebration
Haluk Levent performed a song in Arabic for the tens of thousands of children who lost their lives in Israel's attacks on Palestinians during the celebration held for the 571st anniversary of the Conquest of Istanbul.
Israel continues its attacks despite the International Court of Justice's ruling to halt them. While reactions against Israel are growing worldwide every day, famous figures are also not remaining silent about the tragedy.
One of these figures, Haluk Levent, continues to draw attention to the oppression in Palestine, both through the work of the Ahbap Association, of which he is the founding president, and at the concerts where he performs.
Most recently, Levent, who took the stage at the celebration held in Maltepe as part of the 571st anniversary of the Conquest of Istanbul, did not forget the Palestinians. The 55-year-old singer Haluk Levent sang a song in Arabic on stage for Palestinian children.
Sharing those moments on his social media account, Haluk Levent said, "We sang for 16 thousand children. In their own language. You are in my heart, Palestine."
Just now in Maltepe.
