Mustafa Sandal reacts to Numan Kurtulmuş on the constitution: 'Are you aware that you are committing a crime?'
Singer Mustafa Sandal has reacted to Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, who targeted the third article of the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey.
As the debate over a new constitution continues following the remarks by HÜDA PAR leader Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu—known for his proximity to Hezbollah—targeting the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, a controversial statement has come from Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş.
Kurtulmuş argued that the phrase "the indivisible integrity of the state with its country and nation" should be changed, targeting the third article of the constitution by stating, "The state does not have a country. The state does not have a nation. This text should be expressed as 'the indivisible integrity of the nation with its state and country'."
“ARE YOU AWARE THAT YOU ARE COMMITTING A CRIME?”
While Kurtulmuş's remarks drew backlash from political figures, another reaction came from singer Mustafa Sandal.
Quoting Kurtulmuş's statement in a post on his X account, Sandal addressed him, asking, "Are you aware that you are committing a constitutional crime, Mr. Numan?"
