She had a hand in 'Hunting Season' and 'The Bandit': Gülengül Arlıel has passed away

Producer of the films 'Hunting Season' (Av Mevsimi) and 'The Bandit' (Eşkıya), Gülengül Arlıel, has passed away following a battle with cancer.

The news of the filmmaker's death was announced by the Cancer-Free Life Association (Kansersiz Yaşam Derneği), where she served on the board.

The statement released on the association's social media account is as follows:

"The Vice President of the Cancer-Free Life Association family, a thought leader, and a woman with a huge heart who shed light on our path has left us. As the Cancer-Free Life family, we are experiencing great pain. The pain of losing Gülengül Arlıel is indescribable. We will always remember her for the immense contributions she made to our association, her huge heart, her kindness, and her love.

Although our loss is great, we will continue to be together with her legacy and love. We will never forget the marks she left on us, and we will always keep her name alive in the struggle our association carries out. We extend our condolences to her family and all her loved ones. May she rest in peace."

Gülengül Arlıel, who held an important position in Turkey's cinema and television industry, was born in Turkey.

Arlıel frequently made a name for herself with the productions she was involved in throughout her career.

She notably took part in productions such as "Hunting Season" and "The Bandit".

Arlıel also served as a producer and co-producer on these projects. The film "Hunting Season" was released on December 3, 2010.
