Social media influencer Aleyna Kanko has been detained in Adana after posing with a handgun inside a luxury car belonging to a friend. In her statement, Kanko claimed the footage was old and reportedly said, "The car and the gun do not belong to me. I thought the gun, which belongs to my friend, was a blank-firing pistol."

Treating the rapidly spreading footage as a tip-off, police teams detained Kanko at her home in Adana's Çukurova district.
'THE CAR AND THE GUN DO NOT BELONG TO ME'
It was learned that in her statement, Aleyna Kanko claimed the footage was old and said, "The car and the gun do not belong to me. I thought the gun, which belongs to my friend, was a blank-firing pistol."
Kanko was released following her interrogation under the instructions of the prosecutor's office.
