Following the arrest of Dilan Polat and her husband Engin Polat on charges of money laundering, it was announced that the ministry had taken action and would launch an investigation into 600 influencers.
A new development occurred today regarding the Polat case, which is being closely followed by the public.
As will be recalled, a photograph of the Dilan-Engin Polat couple with their fellow influencer friends, taken in November 2019, had been a subject of long-standing debate on social media.
THEY WILL BE SUMMONED FOR TESTIMONY
The prosecutor's office has included the famous influencers featured in this photograph—Merve Nur Akyüz, İleyda Topal, Tolunay Topal, Kenan Özkan, Eylül Öztürk, Nez Demir, Yasemin Yiğit, and her husband Murat Yiğit—in the Polat case file.
The famous influencers will be summoned to the police station in the coming days to provide their statements.
A STRIKING COMMENT
Famous folk singer Nihat Doğan made claims that would create an agenda regarding the names in the photo that Dilan Polat shared with the caption 'Champions League'.
'TABLE OF SNAKES!'
Nihat Doğan said, ''There are those who want to become close friends with Dilan Polat just to have their own cars shot at. This table is not the 'Champions League', it is a table of snakes.''
