With only a few days left until the March 31 local elections, the results of a study conducted in Ankara's Etimesgut district have been shared with the public.
There is a fierce competition in the election race between MHP's candidate Enver Demirel and CHP's candidate Erdal Beşikçioğlu.
The results from the poll conducted by Sonar Research are as follows:
(MHP) Enver Demirel: 43.7 percent
(CHP) Erdal Beşikçioğlu: 41.1 percent
(İYİ PARTY) Hilmi Özer: 5.6 percent
(YRP) Abdülkadir Baloğlu: 2.5 percent
(Victory Party) Müslim Taşdan: 2 percent
THE MARGIN WAS 4 POINTS IN 2019
In the 2019 local elections in Etimesgut, the MHP candidate received 49.5 percent of the vote, while the CHP candidate received 45.7 percent.
