Roads closed in Ankara! Müfit Can Saçıntı shared those moments! 'Is this what a state of law looks like?'

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu was arrested yesterday morning. Following İmamoğlu's arrest, demonstrations and protests began in major cities across Turkey. In cities such as Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir, security measures were increased and strict controls were implemented.

In Ankara, some roads were closed to traffic, and drivers experienced difficulties passing through. Meanwhile, director and actor Müfit Can Saçıntı, who was in Ankara to perform a theater play, encountered an interesting situation while on his way to his hotel in Kızılay. Sharing the situation via his social media account, Saçıntı stated, "We came to Ankara and performed two plays. With the warm reactions of the audience, both plays felt like a rally. Now we are struggling to get to our hotel in Kızılay. The roads are closed. The person closing the road is not a police officer, but a member of the 'Police Foundation for Strengthening the Police Organization.' That's what it said on his t-shirt," he said.

Criticizing the situation, Saçıntı expressed his reaction by saying, "They call this 'democracy and a state of law.' For God's sake, I ask sincerely: Where are we in which century? Can such a state of law exist?"
