Chain-reaction accident on the Yalova section of the Istanbul-Izmir Highway: 11 injured
11 people injured in an accident involving 5 cars, a bus, and a semi-truck in Çiftlikköy have been taken to hospitals; it was reported that their injuries are not life-threatening.
A chain-reaction traffic accident occurred on the Istanbul-Izmir Highway near the Kılıç Junction in the Çiftlikköy district of Yalova. The accident, which took place in the direction of Bursa, involved 5 cars, a bus, and a semi-truck.

Upon notification, police, gendarmerie, fire department, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. Fire crews from Altınova and Çiftlikköy extracted some individuals trapped in the vehicles and handed them over to medical personnel.
The 11 people injured in the accident were transported by ambulance to the Yalova Training and Research Hospital and surrounding hospitals. It was learned that the injured are not in life-threatening condition.
The vehicles involved in the accident were removed from the scene with the help of tow trucks. Following the intervention of the teams, efforts were carried out to return traffic flow on the road to normal.
