A fire broke out in a wooded area in Ankara's Mamak district. Following the start of the fire near the Hüseyingazi Tomb Road in Başak Neighborhood, fire crews were directed to the region.
It was stated that the fire started around 18:00 for reasons yet to be determined. Upon reports from citizens who noticed the flames, crews were dispatched to the area in a short time.
Firefighters have begun efforts to bring the fire under control. It was reported that intervention is ongoing in the area and that an investigation into the cause of the fire is expected to be clarified following the containment efforts.
