Individual with 113 criminal records released

It has been learned that 2 of the 3 suspects detained in Istanbul for allegedly stealing consoles from luxury vehicles across 7 districts have been arrested.

Individual with 113 criminal records released

Teams from the Istanbul Public Security Branch Office, Theft and Pickpocketing Bureau, launched an investigation following complaints of console thefts from 33 luxury vehicles in Beşiktaş, Sarıyer, Kağıthane, Eyüpsultan, Bayrampaşa, Sultangazi, and Gaziosmanpaşa.

The suspects identified as Fazlı K. (41) and Ferhat S. (44) were apprehended in Sultangazi, where they had traveled in a stolen vehicle from Kartal. Subsequently, P. Ç. (47), who was determined to be linked to the thefts, was also taken into custody.

During searches of the residences and workplaces of Fazlı K. and Ferhat S., 4 digital instrument clusters, 3 NBT screens, 2 NBT screen control units, and 2 joysticks were seized.

113 CRIMINAL RECORDS: PROSECUTOR ORDERED RELEASE

It was learned that suspect Fazlı K. has 44 criminal records and a final prison sentence of 14 years and 6 months, Ferhat S. has 17 criminal records, and P. Ç. has 113 criminal records.

Following their processing at the police station, Fazlı K. and Ferhat S. were referred to the courthouse and arrested by the duty magistrate, while P. Ç. was released by the prosecutor's office.
