Student accused of jacket theft in Samsun released
A university student who was detained on allegations of stealing a jacket at a shopping mall in Samsun has been released under judicial control.
In an incident that occurred at a clothing store in the Piazza AVM located in the Canik district of Samsun, it was alleged that 24-year-old university student D.Ö. entered the store as a customer and stole a jacket.
D.Ö., who was caught by store employees, returned the stolen jacket.
The young woman, who was taken into custody by teams from the Irmak Police Station, was referred to the Samsun Courthouse. Giving her statement at the duty court, D.Ö. was released under judicial control.
