Journalist Gökmen Karadağ has joined the chain of recent departures at Halk TV. Karadağ shared his farewell message on social media.
Following a series of consecutive departures at Halk TV, journalist Gökmen Karadağ announced that he has left the channel in a statement on his personal X account.
In his post, Karadağ tagged Halk TV's official account and used the phrase, "Goodbye Halk TV."

In the evening, Halk TV Chairman of the Board Cafer Mahiroğlu appeared on a live broadcast on the channel to comment on the successive resignations. Following these statements, Karadağ's decision to leave has once again turned eyes toward the developments at the channel.
Among the names who have left Halk TV in recent weeks are Seda Selek, as well as Sorel Dağıstanlı, Buket Güler, Gözde Şeker, and Remziye Demirkol. On April 30, bidding farewell to the screen at the end of her long-running program "Neden-Sonuç" (Cause-Effect), Seda Selek informed viewers of her departure by saying, "Know that I have extremely valid reasons." Following Selek, Sorel Dağıstanlı also announced on May 8 that he had resigned, stating that he left the channel due to a social media post he made regarding Selek's departure.
