Flash Haber TV, transferred to TMSF, goes dark

Flash Haber TV, which was transferred to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) within the scope of an ongoing money laundering investigation in Turkey, has reached a significant turning point in its broadcasting life. As of today, the channel's live broadcasts have ended, and only archive content has begun to appear on the screen.

According to the official notification conveyed to employees by the channel management, it was announced that with this decision, all personnel's severance rights would be met in full. In the upcoming privatization process, it is expected that Flash Haber TV's broadcasting license and technical equipment will be put up for sale.

Following the termination of live broadcasts, it was stated that only the channel's archive programs would be aired. At the end of the process conducted by the TMSF, reruns of existing programs will meet the audience on the channel's screens until a buyer is found.

Journalist Şevval Şirin presented Flash Haber TV's final main news bulletin, witnessing the historic moment when the channel bid farewell to its broadcasting life. In a post on her social media account following the broadcast, she stated, "Presenting the final broadcast of a channel is a very different responsibility and emotion. I thank all my fellow press workers."

Şirin also emphasized that her team members performed their duties with professional ethics until the very last moment.
