A new political party is on the way: Name and emblem are a surprise!

Teoman Yıldırım, President of the Turkish Economic, Political and Strategic Research Center, stated that he will announce the new political party he is founding on April 23 in Ankara.

Yıldırım said, "Our goal is to lead Turkey toward a position of advanced democracy. The excessive strength of centralism in Turkey poses a significant problem both for the democratization of parties and for strengthening the bond between voters and members of parliament. To strengthen the voter-MP bond, and to ensure that party members and voters can express their ideas through their parties and hold MPs accountable for their actions, we will establish a strong system that includes primary election mechanisms and membership tools. The most important element within the party will be ensuring the strengthening of intra-party democracy."

WHAT WILL THE NEW PARTY'S NAME BE?

Yıldırım used the following expressions:

"Instead of a large hall meeting, a ceremony is being planned at a hotel where the founders, the party emblem, and the name will be announced. Options regarding the party name are in the evaluation stage; the name of the party has not yet been finalized.

"HEADQUARTERS BUILDING IS SECRET"

A headquarters building has also been rented for the new party, but for now, the location of the building is being kept secret. This is because a working office for the party was rented in Istanbul. The team is following the same tactic regarding the headquarters building. We attach importance to institutionalization within the party's legal entity for a vision of a strong Turkey. The nation now wants a change in ideas, political staff, and mentality."
