Call for common sense from Mansur Yavaş to Kılıçdaroğlu

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş made an important call to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu ahead of the CHP group meeting at 13:30. Yavaş said, "Millions of CHP members expect you to show a common-sense approach with the experience and statesmanship you possess."

Mansur Yavaş's call is as follows:

Dear Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, you are an important asset who has served as the Chairman of our Republican People's Party for many years and assumed responsibility during the most challenging periods of our party.

In the process being experienced today, millions of CHP members expect you to show a common-sense approach with the experience and statesmanship you possess. It is our collective responsibility to protect the institutional identity of our party, to ensure that our organizations and voters are not further saddened, and to prevent undesirable scenes from occurring under the roof of the Parliament and in the public eye.

For this reason, I believe that every constructive step you take for the sake of the CHP's unity, the law of brotherhood, and its future will find a response in society and add strength to our party. The Republican People's Party is our common home. The sensitivity you show to ensure this home is not harmed will be appreciated not only by our party members but also by all citizens who believe in democracy.
