AKP Chair and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with former İYİ Party Chair Meral Akşener yesterday at the Presidential Palace.

Former İYİ Party MP Aytun Çıray stated during a live broadcast on Sözcü TV last night, "Information reached me from very serious sources that there was a request for a member of the Akşener family to become an ambassador."
