Convention traffic in CHP: Ekrem İmamoğlu met with Özgür Özel after Kılıçdaroğlu

The Republican People's Party (CHP) is preparing to hold its convention on November 4-5.

Before the convention, CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu met yesterday at the Çankaya Ahlatlıbel Facilities. The meeting, which was closed to the press, lasted approximately one hour.

KILIÇDAROĞLU'S PROPOSAL FOR DIVAN CHAIRMANSHIP

Kılıçdaroğlu and İmamoğlu, who left the facility in separate vehicles, did not make any statements to the press. According to information reflected in the lobbies, Kılıçdaroğlu proposed that İmamoğlu serve as the divan chairman at the convention.

Headquarters sources had stated that they wanted to bring a name to the divan chairmanship that both sides would agree upon.

MET WITH ÖZEL AFTER KILIÇDAROĞLU

Ekrem İmamoğlu, who met with Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu in Ankara yesterday and stated that they would make a statement regarding the meeting later, held a meeting with CHP Chairman candidate Özgür Özel in the evening.
