Corruption allegation from Veli Ağbaba to Osman Gökçek: 'The house is worth 600 million'

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Celal Adan to discuss the 2025 budgets of the Presidency and its affiliated institutions.

Engineers, teachers, police officers, and doctors cannot make ends meet in this Turkey. White-collar and blue-collar workers have met. There is no longer a middle class in Turkey; there are those at the very bottom and those at the very top.

NO ONE IS HOLDING THEM ACCOUNTABLE

In the other Turkey, there is wealth, bribery, waste due to theft, extravagance, and illicit gain, but no taxes at all. Some people are getting rich without breaking a sweat, without ever having been a merchant in their lives. No one is holding them accountable for this.

IT WAS PURCHASED AS 4 THOUSAND SQUARE METERS, IT BECAME 14 THOUSAND

There is Melih Gökçek, who managed the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality for 25 years, and his son Osman. This plot of land for the house was purchased by Osman Gökçek as 4 thousand square meters. Look at the poverty, look at the children who burned to death, and then look at those who enriched themselves unjustly, and look at Osman Gökçek's mansion. The company that received the 810 million dollar job is Osman's contractor. Does anyone give anyone 5 kuruş for nothing? Especially, would these people give it? This money is the money of retirees who sell gum, of those who sell simit, of those living in the cold because they cannot pay their natural gas bills. It is all of our money. Some people continue to get rich with illicit money.
