DEM Party Co-Chair Bakırhan calls Barzani following attack

In a statement released on social media, the DEM Party announced that its Co-Chair, Tuncer Bakırhan, established direct contact with Prime Minister Masrour Barzani last night. Following the targeting of the office in Erbil with two UAVs, the solidarity shown by Bakırhan to Barzani was emphasized.

The statement read: "Our Co-Chair, Tuncer Bakırhan, held a phone conversation with Mr. Masrour Barzani following the targeting of the office of the Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister, Mr. Masrour Barzani, by UAVs last night. During the conversation, our Co-Chair expressed that we, as the DEM Party, condemn the attack. He conveyed our well wishes to Mr. Barzani, the Kurdistan Regional Government, and the Kurdish people, and stated that we stand with them at all times. On this occasion, we state that we find such attacks, which keep war and tension on the agenda in the region and deepen instability, to be dangerous, and we call on the Baghdad administration to shed light on the incident."

ATTACK CONDEMNED, CALL MADE TO BAGHDAD

It was noted that during the conversation, the DEM Party clearly condemned the attack and sent a message of support to the Kurdish people. The party's statement included the words, "We believe that such attacks threaten peace and stability in the region and deepen instability." Furthermore, a call was made to the Iraqi central government to clarify all aspects of the incident.
