DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları: The Kurdish question must be resolved through peaceful and democratic methods

Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları stated at a press conference held at the Dicle Fırat Culture Center in the central Sur district that they are preparing to celebrate Nevruz.

Hatimoğulları said, "The 2024 Nevruz will be a Nevruz where, while we hold our celebrations, we will also carry our political demands to the highest level."

Stating, "The Kurdish question must be resolved through peaceful and democratic methods. The Kurdish question is a question of status. Let us solve the Kurdish question together," Hatimoğulları noted that they are reiterating their call.

Hatimoğulları expressed their belief that the Nevruz to be celebrated this year will further amplify this call.

Tülay Hatimoğulları said, "The 2024 Nevruz will be a Nevruz where, while we hold our celebrations, we will also carry our political demands to the highest level. Happy Nevruz. Blood, tears, and pain will cease in this geography; we will sow and cultivate the seeds of peace, love, brotherhood, friendship, justice, and freedom together."
