Critical talks by Erdoğan on the Israel-Palestine crisis

In a statement made by the Directorate of Communications, it was stated: "Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, held a phone call with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas by taking a break from the cabinet meeting.

During the meeting, the events in Israel and Palestine and the latest developments regarding the tension in the region were discussed.

President Erdoğan stated during the meeting that Turkey is making every effort to end the conflicts in the region and to ensure calm as soon as possible."

HE ALSO SPOKE WITH THE ISRAELI PRESIDENT

Erdoğan held a phone call with Israeli President Isaac Herzog. During the meeting, the events in Israel and Palestine and the latest developments regarding the tension in the region were discussed.

Emphasizing that a step that could cause collective and indiscriminate harm to the people of Gaza would further increase the suffering and the cycle of violence in the region, AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan stated that common sense must prevail and that the restoration of calm in the region as soon as possible is of great importance for the safety of the entire region.

During the meeting, Erdoğan stated that Turkey's efforts to end the worrying conflicts in the region and to ensure lasting peace will continue to increase.

PRIME MINISTER OF LEBANON

AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan also held a phone call with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati. During the meeting, the increasing conflicts in the region within the framework of the Israel-Palestine tension were discussed.

President Erdoğan stated during the meeting that Turkey will continue to make efforts for the conflicts to end.

PRIME MINISTER OF MALAYSIA

In a written statement made by the Presidential Directorate of Communications, the following expressions were used: "Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, held a phone call with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. During the meeting, our President Erdoğan and Malaysian Prime Minister Ibrahim exchanged views on the latest developments in the context of Israel-Palestine."
