Fatih Erbakan calls for gradual retirement: 'The grievance must now be resolved'
Yeniden Refah Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan has expressed his support for the demand for gradual retirement and called on authorities to find a solution.
Yeniden Refah Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan stated in a post on his social media account that the demand for gradual retirement should no longer be postponed.
Announcing his support for the struggle led by the Association for Justice in Retirement (Emeklilikte Adalet Derneği), Erbakan expressed that the disparity he argues has formed in retirement conditions is incompatible with the principles of justice and fairness.

In his statement, Erbakan said, "It is time to take action! The rightful demand of millions of our citizens for gradual retirement must no longer be postponed. A 17-year difference in retirement caused by a one-day gap is incompatible with the principles of justice and fairness."
Stating that the solution is gradual retirement, Erbakan added, "I support the rightful struggle of the Emad Association and invite the authorities to permanently resolve this grievance."
