New move from trustee Gürsel Tekin
Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as a trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency, announced that he has applied to the judiciary, stating that he is being prevented from speaking on Halk TV, Sözcü TV, and NOW TV. Tekin said, "I will exercise my right of reply by looking them straight in the eye."
Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as a trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency, appeared on a broadcast hosted by journalist Çağlar Cilara.
In response to Cilara's question, "Are they not letting you on Halk TV, Sözcü TV, or NOW TV?", Tekin replied:
"No. I have been waiting for 45 days. Now I have applied to the judiciary. I will appear through legal channels. This is my most natural right. Why do I want to appear? You will host the accomplices of Aziz İhsan Aktaş on your broadcasts, they will insult us, and we will exercise our right of reply. I will exercise it, my brother. I will exercise it by looking them straight in the eye. Because there is nothing we cannot account for."
