Özgür Özel: 'I invite our citizens in Bulgaria to vote'

Bulgarian citizens will head to the polls tomorrow for general elections and European Parliament (EP) elections. The country, which is heading to the polls for the 6th time in the last 3 years, has 6.5 million registered voters who will be able to cast their ballots in 60 countries, including Turkey. A total of 32 political forces, 20 of which are parties and 12 of which are coalitions, will participate in both elections. 166 ballot boxes will be opened in Turkey.

Özgür Özel: 'I invite our citizens in Bulgaria to vote'

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel has invited Turkish citizens living in Bulgaria who have the right to vote to head to the polls ahead of tomorrow's elections. Özel used the following expressions in a post on his social media account:

“I invite our citizens who have the right to vote in the elections to be held in Bulgaria tomorrow to head to the polls. The elections are of great importance for the rights struggle and democratic future of our kin. I wish the elections to be auspicious for Bulgaria and the Balkan region.”
