Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel met with Saniye Ateş, the mother of former Ülkü Ocakları Education and Culture Foundation President Sinan Ateş, who lost his life in December 2022, at the CHP headquarters. CHP Deputy Chairman Murat Bakan was also present at the meeting.
Sinan Ateş's sister, Selma Ateş, his wife, and the family's lawyer, Şeyda Şahin, also attended the meeting. The discussion covered the processes following the armed attack that led to Sinan Ateş's death and the family's demands.
