Statement from the DEM Party Imralı Delegation on 'Imralı Notes'
The DEM Party Imralı Delegation issued a statement regarding the "Imralı notes" circulating on social media that are alleged to belong to Abdullah Öcalan, emphasizing that such content has been distorted.
The DEM Party Imralı Delegation has issued a statement regarding the "Imralı notes" that have been circulating in recent days, which are alleged to belong to PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan.
The party's statement is as follows:
"A need has arisen to inform the public regarding the content titled 'meeting notes' that has been circulated on some social media platforms in recent days and attributed to Mr. Abdullah Öcalan.
As we have stated repeatedly in the past, the views of Mr. Öcalan are being distorted in these texts by adding statements directed at certain individuals and circles without any connection to an original document.
We would like to state that such attempts damage the ground for dialogue and resolution.
We emphasize once again:
No document, note, or information that is not based on an official, verifiable, and reliable foundation, and that is served from any source other than the Imralı Delegation, family members, and lawyers who meet with Mr. Öcalan, should be given any credence.
It is of great importance for the public to be cautious against such content for the sustainability of a healthy dialogue and the requirements of the resolution process. We emphasize once again that all parties must be sensitive and responsive in this regard.
Respectfully,
DEM Party Imralı Delegation"
