CHP Chairman Özgür Özel made a statement on his X account regarding the CHP's protest in the TBMM following the judicial crisis that began when the Court of Cassation refused to recognize the 'rights violation' ruling issued by the Constitutional Court (AYM) regarding imprisoned MP Can Atalay and filed a criminal complaint against AYM members.

Stating that the protest will continue until a second decision, Özel said the following:

"I visited our Parliamentary Group, who have not left the TBMM General Assembly in order to protest the attempt at an uprising against the constitutional order, in the General Assembly this morning on the 4th day of their protest. Our protest will continue until a second decision."
