Apple prepares to say goodbye to some models: New devices are on the way

Information has emerged that Apple is entering a significant transformation process in its product range. With these changes, which are expected to take place in February and March, four current models will be removed from shelves, and the company aims to introduce updated models in their place. This strategy by the company aims to increase the market share of new devices while directing users toward the latest technologies.

Thanks to this approach, which has been applied in the sector for a long time, Apple is rapidly reducing older products in its portfolio, simplifying its product variety, and connecting users with new options. It is being reported behind the scenes that existing models will be gradually withdrawn from production and sales ahead of new product announcements.

The iPhone 16e model, which appeals to the mid-segment smartphone market, is at the top of the list for this change. Following claims that the iPhone 17e model will be introduced before February ends, it is expected that sales of the iPhone 16e will be terminated. The expected new model is projected to feature improvements in processor performance, new camera features, and design updates. It is also on the agenda that the price range will remain close to the current model.

Innovations are also on the horizon for tablets. The iPad Air with the M3 chip, introduced last year, is expected to be updated with a new version this March, and the current model is expected to be quietly removed from sale. It is stated that Apple will remain faithful to its traditional update calendar and will introduce innovations in the iPad Air series again during the spring months.

In the laptop segment, a rapid change is in store for MacBook Pro models. It is rumored that devices with M4 Pro and M4 Max processors will give way to the M5 Pro and M5 Max series. After Apple introduces these new models in March, it is considered highly likely that the M4-based MacBook Pros will be removed from its online store.

In the monitor category, an update for the Apple Studio Display is on the agenda. This product, which has been on the market for about four years, is preparing to be renewed with new panel technologies and improved connection ports. Following the announcement of the new version in February or March, it is expected that sales of the current model will be discontinued.
