Elon Musk draws attention with new transportation project in Dubai

Elon Musk, one of the leading figures in the technology world, plans to revolutionize urban transportation in Dubai with a project called the "Dubai Loop." Musk introduced this project at the World Government Summit held in Dubai.

The project, which will be carried out by Musk's company The Boring Company in collaboration with the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), envisions the construction of a 16-kilometer tunnel network under the city. Fully autonomous Tesla vehicles will be used in these tunnels, and the vehicles will be able to reach speeds of 160 kilometers per hour.

The main goal of the project is to solve the transportation problems of Dubai, which is growing rapidly and experiencing traffic congestion. Musk expressed the efficiency of this system by saying, "It will be like a wormhole: You enter from one part of the city and bam! You find yourself somewhere else."

A NEW TRANSPORTATION CONCEPT

The "Dubai Loop" is designed as a more advanced version of the "Vegas Loop" system that Musk previously implemented in Las Vegas. This new system aims to offer a modern and comfortable solution for urban passenger transportation.

Elon Musk stated that he is turning to the Middle East due to the challenges his projects have faced in the West. It has not yet been announced when construction of the Dubai Loop will begin, but this project is considered an indicator that Musk is turning to new geographies to realize his innovative vision.
