Although Apple claims to have introduced many innovations with iOS 17, it seems they have failed to convince users. iOS 17, which was released to millions of iPhone users, caused overheating issues, especially on iPhone 15 Pro models.

Trust in Apple, which resolved this with the hastily released iOS 17.0.3 update, appears to have dropped significantly compared to previous years.

iPHONE USERS REMAIN HESITANT TO SWITCH TO iOS 17

Apple had previously faced lawsuits for slowing down older iPhones with major versions like iOS 14, 15, and 16. Now, users both believe that the initial versions of iOS 17 are problematic and fear that their devices will slow down with major updates.

According to statistics, the transition rate to iOS 17 is quite low compared to the iOS 16 version. In fact, even with iOS 16, more than 30 percent of users downloaded it only after the iOS 16.6.1 update was released.

Those who did download iOS 17 were waiting for new versions because they encountered problems; according to the data, iOS 17.0.3 has been downloaded by nearly 20 percent of users.

According to unofficial data, only 25 percent of current iPhones have iOS 17 installed. Even though the new version is compatible, nearly 60 percent of iPhone models still have iOS 16 and its versions installed.
