New feature from WhatsApp; secret code for chat lock!
The new feature announced for WhatsApp allows for an extra layer of privacy to be added to locked chats.
WhatsApp's new privacy-focused feature has been on the agenda for some time. The popular messaging app, which officially announced the feature on its blog page, now allows an extra layer of security to be added to locked chats thanks to this secret code.
PROVIDES AN EXTRA LAYER OF SECURITY FOR CHATS
Users will be able to set a unique password, different from the one they use to unlock their phone. To ensure that locked chats can only be opened if the secret code is known, the 'Locked Chats' folder can be hidden from the chat list.

If you do not want it to be this way, you can choose to have locked chats continue to appear in your chat list. When there is a new chat you want to lock, it is now possible to long-press on the chat to lock it instead of going into the chat settings.
Although the feature is currently being rolled out globally, it is said that it may take some time to reach everyone.
