OpenAI introduces Operator: A revolutionary step in the world of artificial intelligence
At an event, OpenAI introduced Operator, the first semi-autonomous AI agent capable of performing tasks independently on the internet. This innovative technology opens the doors to a new era in the AI world by offering the ability to quickly execute daily operations without the need for constant user instructions.
OpenAI introduced its first semi-autonomous AI agent, "Operator," at an event. Operator now allows artificial intelligence to navigate the internet independently and perform various tasks on your behalf.
OpenAI, one of the world's leading artificial intelligence research companies, unveiled this innovative agent called "Operator." Operator can use your computer just like a human to perform tasks such as making reservations, creating shopping lists, and managing online transactions.

This represents a significant departure from the traditional AI tools we have seen so far. Existing tools like ChatGPT required explicit instructions from the user to perform specific tasks. However, a new era is beginning with Operator. This AI agent eliminates the need for detailed instructions from the user.
WHAT IS OPENAI OPERATOR?
Operator is an AI-based browser tool. By performing tasks assigned by users, it simplifies repetitive operations such as filling out forms, shopping online, or creating internet memes. Working in line with user instructions, Operator increases efficiency in workflows while also improving the user experience for businesses.
For the first time, our models can take actions on the internet, so we did a lot of internal testing and external red teaming to help ensure Operator is safe to use. https://t.co/F8C54j3fem

Operator uses a cloud-based browser running on OpenAI's servers to fulfill user requests. This means Operator does not directly control your web browser; interaction is provided through a prompt box similar to ChatGPT. For example, when you give a command like "Find tickets for the Beşiktaş match tonight," Operator moves like a mouse cursor on the screen, fills out forms, makes reservations, and completes the transactions.
Users can monitor the processes in real-time and intervene whenever they wish. When you reach the payment stage, the system notifies you to manually enter your credit card information. For tasks such as solving CAPTCHAs and logging in, control is left entirely to the user.
