According to the allegations, the Sahibinden.com domain became available after its annual renewal payment was delayed and was purchased by Network Solutions LLC, a network company from Florida, until 2025.

Following that allegation, the following statement was made by Sahibinden.com:

"The reports in the media that the sahibinden.com domain name has been purchased by another person/company or that the domain name was not renewed do not reflect the truth.

The company from which we receive domain name services is continuing the necessary work to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Further information will be provided once the matter is resolved. We respectfully announce this to the public..."
