Access issues are being experienced on Sahibinden, Turkey's classifieds platform.
In the initial statement regarding the matter, it was stated that a technical glitch had occurred.
Some accounts on social media shared posts claiming, "Sahibinden did not pay the domain name fee, and a foreign company has purchased the sahibinden.com domain name."
Following that claim, the following statement was made by Sahibinden.com:
"News reports circulating in the media that the sahibinden.com domain name has been purchased by another person/company or that the domain name was not renewed do not reflect the truth.
The company from which we receive domain name services is continuing the necessary work to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Further information will be provided once the matter is resolved. We respectfully announce this to the public..."
