Beşiktaş generates significant revenue through capital increase

Beşiktaş has announced that it has completed the rights issue process for Beşiktaş Futbol Yatırımları Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., in which it holds a majority stake. The black-and-white club stated that it has generated significant revenue during this process.

In the statement, it was noted that a total of 1 billion 433 million TL in revenue was generated, including 445 million shares purchased during the rights issue period and 270 million shares sold in primary market transactions. Despite difficult market conditions, this process was recorded as the largest capital increase in the club's history.

As a result of the capital increase, Beşiktaş's stake in Beşiktaş Futbol A.Ş. rose from 51 percent to 70 percent. The revenue generated will be used to pay off the club's debt to the banking consortium. Beşiktaş thanked the investors and fans who exercised their rights and purchased shares from the primary market during this process.

The club stated that this significant financial step will contribute to Beşiktaş's financial independence and presented its respects to the public.
