Continuing its squad planning ahead of the new season, it is alleged that Beşiktaş has turned its route to Italy for midfield reinforcements. According to reports in the Italian press, the Black and Whites have added Youssouf Fofana, who plays for Milan, to their transfer agenda.
The report states that the Beşiktaş management has contacted Milan to learn the transfer conditions for the 27-year-old French footballer. It was conveyed that the Italian team is open to evaluating offers for Fofana, whose contract runs until 2028.
It is stated that Milan has a transfer fee expectation of approximately 20 million Euros for Fofana. The Red and Blacks had added the French midfielder to their squad at the beginning of the 2024-2025 season from Monaco for 26 million Euros.
Starting his football career in the Red Star youth academy, Youssouf Fofana later played for JA Drancy, Strasbourg, and Monaco. Making 36 official appearances for Milan last season, Fofana contributed with 2 goals and 4 assists.
The type of offer model Beşiktaş will bring to the table and whether Milan will lower its transfer fee demands are among the key factors that will determine the course of the process.
