According to the information obtained, the incident took place in the Konuklu neighborhood of the Haliliye district.

For reasons yet unknown, Halil D. (22) began arguing with his mother, Huriye Çiçek (50), and his sister, Zeynep Demircan (25).

As the argument escalated into a fight, Halil D., in a fit of rage, opened fire on his mother and sisters with a handgun he was carrying.

Zeynep Demircan died at the scene, while mother Huriye Çiçek and her other sister, Melikenur Demircan, were rushed to the hospital by ambulance teams dispatched to the scene.

Despite the interventions of doctors at the hospital, Huriye Çiçek could not be saved and passed away. Melikenur Demircan's treatment is ongoing.

Police teams took extensive security measures at the scene and launched an operation to capture the armed attacker who fled.
