After falling short of expectations last season and parting ways with Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea's new head coach is Enzo Maresca, who led Leicester City to the Championship title and back to the Premier League.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano stated that the London club will sign a 5+1 year contract with Maresca.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will pay compensation for Maresca, who had 2 more years remaining on his contract with Leicester.
