Departure from the National Team ahead of the World Cup

The training camp process for two players in the National Football Team, which is continuing its preparations for the 2026 World Cup, has come to an end.

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced that Aral Şimşir and Demir Ege Tıknaz, who traveled to the United States with the national team delegation despite not being in the final World Cup squad, will be leaving the camp.

In the statement made by the federation, it was reported that the two players would leave the camp in Arizona in the morning hours.

PREPARATIONS CONTINUE AHEAD OF THE AUSTRALIA MATCH

The National Team continues its work ahead of its first match in Group D of the 2026 World Cup.

The Crescent-Stars will face their first test in the tournament against Australia on Sunday, June 14. The technical staff and players are continuing their preparations for the critical match at the camp in Arizona.

A TOUGH FIXTURE AWAITS THE NATIONAL TEAM

Competing in Group D, Turkey will play its second match against Paraguay on June 20, following the Australia match.

In their final match of the group stage, the national team will face the United States on June 26.

While Turkey will play the Australia match in Canada, the matches against Paraguay and the USA will be held in the United States.
