Fenerbahçe's Champions League opponents have been determined

Fenerbahçe, which finished the season in second place in the Super Lig, will begin its UEFA Champions League journey from the second qualifying round. Following the draw, the first potential opponents for the yellow-navy team have been identified as the Scottish representative Hearts and Poland's Gornik Zabrze. The second qualifying round, to be played against one of these two teams, will be the first critical turn in Fenerbahçe's European adventure.

POSSIBLE MATCHUPS IN SUBSEQUENT ROUNDS

If Fenerbahçe advances past the second qualifying round, its potential opponents in the third qualifying round have also become clear. At this stage, the team has the possibility of being matched with Union St. Gilloise from Belgium, Sparta Prague from the Czech Republic, or NEC Nijmegen from the Netherlands. Additionally, one of the teams that advances from the second qualifying round (Sturm Graz, Hearts, or Gornik Zabrze) will also be among Fenerbahçe's potential opponents in this round.

If the third qualifying round is successfully navigated, new challenges await Fenerbahçe in the play-off stage. The yellow-navy team will face one of the teams including Lyon, Bodo Glimt, Olympiacos, or teams that have advanced from previous rounds. The teams that succeed in passing this stage will secure their place in the Champions League group stage.

DATES FOR THE QUALIFYING ROUNDS

The dates for the Champions League qualifying and play-off matches have also been announced. While the draw for the second qualifying round will be held on June 17, the matches will be played on July 21-22 and July 28-29. The draw for the third qualifying round will take place on June 20, with matches scheduled for August 4-5 and August 11. For the play-off round, the draw process will be completed on August 3, and the matches will be held on August 18-19 and August 25-26.
