Erzurumspor FK has achieved a new milestone in its club history with the addition of Festy Oseiwe Ebosele to its squad. The Irish footballer will be the first citizen of the Republic of Ireland to wear the blue-and-white jersey.

In the club's history, players from 45 different countries have previously worn the Erzurumspor FK jersey. With Ebosele's transfer, this number has risen to 46.

The 24-year-old right-back has played for D. County, Udinese, Watford, and Başakşehir during his career. Ebosele, who has also served on the Republic of Ireland National Team, was included in the squad for 20 matches in league and cup competitions at Başakşehir last season.

During that period, Ebosele started in 11 matches and finished the season with 1 goal.
