Galatasaray faced Trencin at the Raiffeisen Arena in their third friendly match of their Austria training camp. Galatasaray started the match with the following starting 11: Jankat Yılmaz, Leo Dubois, Metehan Baltacı, Victor Nelsson, Derrick Köhn, Berkan Kutlu, Lucas Torreira, Dries Mertens, Hakim Ziyech, Wilfried Zaha, and Michy Batshuayi, while Trencin took the field with Matus Slavicek, Taras Bondarenko, Lazar Stojslavljevic, Tadeas Hajovsky, Matus Smet, Jakub Holubek, Damian Baris, Jude Sunday, Chinoso Emeka, Artur Gajdos, and Emmanuel Uchegbu.
Galatasaray's goals were scored by Derrick Köhn in the 7th minute, Hakim Ziyech in the 22nd minute, Dries Mertens in the 48th minute, and Michy Batshuayi in the 58th minute, while the opposing team's only goal came from Uchegbu in the 82nd minute.
On the other hand, Kerem Demirbay, Kazımcan Karataş, Yusuf Demir, Eyüp Aydın, Halil Dervişoğlu, Ali Yeşilyurt, Siraçhan Nas, Efe Akman, and Gökdeniz Gürpüz were given the opportunity to play in the second half for the yellow-red team.
