Statement from İsmail Kartal on 'misinformation'

Following the departure of Jose Mourinho from Fenerbahçe, Italian coach Domenico Tedesco has been appointed as the new manager. After Tedesco's official announcement, İsmail Kartal released a statement.

İsmail Kartal made the following statements on his social media account:

"During the process of determining the new head coach of our Fenerbahçe, there has been serious misinformation about me that is baseless, untrue, and presented in a distorted manner.

As a son of our Fenerbahçe, I reserve my right to reply, also considering the election process. Immediately after these processes, I will make all necessary statements to our fans and our community through a press conference."

Emre Kartal, the son of former Fenerbahçe manager İsmail Kartal, also shared a photo of himself with his father on Instagram.
