The South American Rally, held in Argentina's Cordoba province, witnessed moments of horror. During the Giulio Cesare stage of the race in the Mina Clavero region, the vehicle driven by Paraguayan drivers Didier Arias and Hector Nunez unexpectedly lost control and careened into the spectators.

In the accident, a 25-year-old spectator who was in the viewing area lost their life. Three people were also transported to hospitals with injuries. Medical teams and emergency responders reached the scene quickly, and treatment for the injured began immediately.

Immediately following the accident, rally organizers announced that the final stage had been canceled. While police and authorities have launched a large-scale investigation at the scene, footage of the accident quickly caused a major stir on social media.
