Nihat Kırmızı: 'There is a theater, everyone saw it!'

Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş. Independent Board Member Nihat Kırmızı spoke to the Ajans 1905 YouTube channel following the match Fenerbahçe played against Kasımpaşa.

Nihat Kırmızı said, "There is a theater, and it is being played out. Everyone saw it. It has nothing to do with it. If Fenerbahçe were leading 2-0 or 3-0, there would be no chance of this penalty being awarded. When it was seen that Fenerbahçe would lose points, they had to make something up. This became a great opportunity, a ridiculous opportunity. There was no penalty whatsoever. The Fenerbahçe players were not expecting it either. They were surprised too. We don't know how it happens, who is doing what. Of course, we as Galatasaray fans and Galatasaray executives, led by our president Dursun Özbek and the entire board of directors, are doing everything in our power. We will not let this go unpunished. We will make those who benefit from these illicit points pay dearly. These things should not happen or be experienced in Turkish football. It is an unfortunate evening for Turkish football."

Nihat Kırmızı stated, "We will say what is necessary in the necessary places. We will not just say it in the necessary places; we will do everything to prevent this. We will do everything in our power to ensure it doesn't happen again and to take back what is rightfully ours. It has always been this way until today."

Kırmızı continued his words by saying, "Championships need to be won on the pitch. Not with such ridiculous things. If a championship is to be won like this, it is better not to win it at all!"
