Okan Buruk aims to write new history at Galatasaray
Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk plans to break Fatih Terim's record by winning a third consecutive Super Lig title.
Okan Buruk, who led Galatasaray to championships in the last two seasons, is setting his sights even higher, aiming to become the first manager to win five consecutive titles at the helm of the yellow-reds. In a press conference held after the Eyüpspor match, Buruk clearly expressed this goal, stating that he wants to write a new chapter in Galatasaray's history.
Buruk, who wants to match the four-year championship streak Fatih Terim achieved at Galatasaray between 1996 and 2000, plans to surpass this success by winning a fifth title and then departing from Galatasaray.

The future of Okan Buruk, who is alleged to have received offers from abroad, particularly from Roma, is a subject of curiosity. However, Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek wants Buruk to remain with the team throughout his own tenure. Özbek believes that Buruk staying with the team is the best decision for stability.
